Murraya paniculata
'Murraya': after 18th century Swedish botanist Dr Johan Murray; 'paniculata': with flowers in a panicle.
This erect dense rounded to vase-shaped shrub branches from the base. The leaflets are glossy green and the funnel-shape flowers are cream with a strong scent. It forms an excellent informal screen and requires little care.

Soil Will grow in any soil type but for best results a rich, well drained soil with plenty of organic matter is prefered.

Flowers & Fruit
Flowers form at the end of the branches in dense clusters during summer and intermittent at other times of the year. The perfume is strong.
The oval fruit changes from green to bright crimson when ripe. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
